A evening of speed networking

Sunshine NY recognizes the fact that, in business-especially in small business, or when you’re working for yourself-it’s all about networking. To help maximize time and benefits, Sunshine is thrilled to be co-sponsoring Connected To Greatness’s final “Connecting” event of 2009, this Thursday, December 3, from 5:30-8:00 P.M. at 3Ten Lounge.

On Speed Networking, via Connected To Greatness:

Speed Networking events are fun and a great way to make contact with a lot of people in one evening.

Here’s how it works. The first 30 minutes of our event will be dedicated to relaxed unstructured networking. Then, we’ll move into the speed networking portion where you’ll have four minutes of one on one time with another professional. When the four minutes are up, you’ll move on and connect with the next professional and so on and so on.

60 minutes and at least 15 new connections later, we’ll break for another 30 minutes of unstructured networking. You’ll leave with a pocket full of business cards and the chance to start cultivating new and rewarding relationships with those you’ve met.

Our event will be held in the cozy and inviting private area of 3Ten Lounge. Delicious Complimentary Light Hors d’oeuvres will be Served and $4 Happy Hour Drink Specials Will Be Available.

    Sounds like so much fun! I hate going to normal networking functions because I can be shy and find it hard to approach people – but an event like this seems like the perfect cure for that!
