Sunshine NY‘s community of small businesses and entrepreneurs is thrilled to announce the first-ever Sunshine NY Health Week! Event originator Jenna Edwards discusses “what” and “why” for Health Week. As a nutrition coach, I experience confusion from many of my clients regarding basic health and food topics. The nutrition industry changes constantly and we are left to sift through conflicting information. In my business, I work with my clients to find the best nutrition approach for their individual situation. We are all different and that calls for different approaches. I decided to host Health Week at Sunshine to support fellow entrepreneurs who want to do better for themselves, but don’t know where to start. The chosen topics are just the beginning for educating yourself on better health decisions. My hope is these seminars will jump-start your desire to pursue healthful living. It’s easy to figure out what NOT to do, but Health Week aims to fill in that knowledge gap of what to do instead. Find new foods, new techniques, new answers. Get tips for cooking, eating out, energy preservation, and physical movement.Equip yourself to make it through the holiday season. Cheni takes us down the street from the Tribeca West location to Greenwich and Spring, a great spot if you’re looking for a bite to eat or a drink after work.
Cheni takes us a couple streets down from the office, where you can find five parking garages, ensuring you don’t spend forever finding a parking spot when you drive to work.
Cheni takes us to an institution in the area around the Tribeca West location, Capsouto Freres. It’s a great spot to go to celebrate special occasions or experience a piece of New York City history.
Cheni shows off the excellently named Sunshine Mart, one of his favorite places to get a quick sushi fix around Tribeca. An excellent place to pick up a wide variety of Asian ingredients and cooking tools, not to mention vacuum cleaners, Sunshine Mart is definitely worth a visit.
Cheni takes us to one of his favorite areas of SoHo, West Broadway. It’s a 10 minute walk from from the Tribeca office and is home to numerous shops and restaurants, perfect for lunch or after-work drinks.
Cheni shows that the concept of Tribeca West being way off the beaten path is mistaken. Two major subway lines are less than five minutes away, making it extremely convenient to travel to and from.
Cheni takes us to one of his favorite spots in SoHo, Cafe Noir. Located only a few minutes away from the Sunshine Suites Tribeca offices, it’s a great place to grab some drinks and meet up with friends. You can read more about it on their website.
Cheni takes us down Hudson street to Bubby’s. You’ll come for the delicious food and stay for the pies. Also, if you’re into celebrity sightings, there have been Shiner sightings of James Gandolfini and Paulie Walnuts there.
I am unable to wrap my head around the fact as to why any
entrepreneur in NYC would not be in this building
considering the price and networking opportunities.
