Co-working is a really great concept where people who would normally work in isolation can come together to collaboratively work in a shared common space. Just like your Meetups, co-working brings community to those that don’t normally have it during those long work days. That’s where
Sunshine Suites comes in. Sunshine Suites, is a co-working space that offers affordable on-demand office space in New York City. Until June 13th, they are supporting Meetup Groups that would benefit from their professional workspace, office amenities, and of course talented community

On April 30th from 10:00am-5:00pm a professional camera crew will be on site at the TriBeCa West Office to shoot the second round of video profiles for all interested Shiners. There is absolutely no time to waste, this is the ultimate way to do some serious self-promotion, and appointments are filling up fast.
Videos on the web have become a major part of how people discover and learn about services they are seeking and companies they may want to work with. A video can showcase who you are and what your company does in a way the printed word cannot. There is absolutely no obligation, shoot your profile for free, and use the video anyway you like. You get to have some fun, be creative, reach out to people, and make an impact with your message while increasing your company’s search engine optimization. A thirty-second video takes less than 20 minutes to shoot.Every video will be posted right here on the Sunshine Blog, as well as the Sunshine YouTube Channel. Videos will also be embedded on your company profile on the Sunshine Suites website. More videos, like the one above will be posted here in the coming days, so check back to see some great examples.

“ROOMS” is a story of the tangling of love and creativity. The show has been nominated for 5 Helen Hayes Awards, and after successful runs in Washington DC and Rochester NY, “ROOMS” has made its debut Off-Broadway at the New World Stages and I couldn’t be more excited. As a person who loves both rock and romance, I had to stop and think, was this show made for me? And I bet I’m not alone.

Hello there. Sunshine is constantly searching for new ways to organize and promote the collective power that we have within this community. As such, we figured it is high time we got on the blogging bandwagon. As of right now there is not really a plan for how we are going to end up using this as a tool to help the community, but we have a few ideas:
- interviewing and introducing interesting new members to the rest of the community
- reaching out to other groups outside of Sunshine members
- talking about new technologies, businesses, and services that help startups and small businesses
- soliciting opinions on our current offerings and/or things we should be doing differently or better
However, we figure everyone else might have some initial ideas that they would like us to pursue, and or suggestions for possible content. Please let us know in the comments.
